Her first experience as a TV program host showed Fernanda that to be in front of the cameras was, just like the sand and the sea on the beaches, her preferred habitat. So much so that, in Hawaii, she decided that as soon as she got back to Brazil she would get a degree in Communications.

On the first year of the 21st century she was hired by Rede TV, where she hosted TV Escolha and Interligado – her first live TV show. On that same year she went back to MTV and faced the challenge of hosting Fica Comigo, the first time she hosted a show focused on certain aspects of human behaviour.
