This was the year to lay a foundation on the network that, on the turn of the century, was Fernanda’s favorite: MTV. After the experience with television’s pioneering dating show (Fica Comigo), she took on two new missions.

She hosted Luau MTV and Verão MTV.  She also went back to Mochilão, the show that had launched her two years earlier. She went to Scotland, Spain, United States, Mexico and South Africa, in addition to travelling all over Brazil, from north to south. “We’d lived through too many adventures and I thought I was a great adventurer. But when the show was over, I found out that I’m not adventurous at all; and I can’t stand heights”, she confessed years later.
