As the host of the show SuperStar, Fernanda recently admitted during an interview to the GShow website that she would be a very critical judge: “If I had the chance to sit on that chair, I’d be an unmerciful judge! My vote would be ‘no’ to everyone. I’m just kidding, that’s terrible! I’d be very critical, but I’d never be a judge. I don’t have the technical understanding of music it takes. All I know is what touches my heart. If I’d feel touched by a song in some way, I’d vote ‘yes’. If that didn’t happen, I’d vote ‘no’”, she said.
Responsible for revealing great talents of the national music, such as Banda Malta, who won the 2014 edition, the reality show is an opportunity for the new names of the moment to show their voices and compete, in a democratic manner, with the help of the public and the judges.
In this edition, Sandy, Thiaguinho and Paulo Ricardo are taking the judges’ seats as they have the tough mission of analyzing the bands on the competition. “This is not an easy position. I believe it must be very hard. I have great respect and admiration for their work. I give them a hard time so they say what the evaluation is and what they have to add. Their opinion is very important to those in the competition”, said Fernanda on the interview.
