In 2005, Fernanda moved from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro. On one hand she went back to being close to the beach, her preferred scenery in the world; on the other, she stepped into unknown and challenging territory: the largest television network of the country.

Hired by Globo, Fernanda sub for Angélica on Video Game while she was on maternity leave.

In 2005, she also lived her first experience as a television actress, as the main character of the soap Bang Bang, by Mario Prata, as Diana Bullock.
