On the night of the 11th, the award ceremony of the “Prêmio Extra da Televisão” was held in Rio de Janeiro. The event paid tribute to professionals who stood out in Brazilian Television in 2013.
The ceremony, hosted by Fernanda Paes Leme and Tiago Leifert, was touching and full of surprises. Fernanda Lima was chosen by popular vote as ‘The Best Host of Brazilian Television’, while competing against names such as Fátima Bernardes, Regina Casé, Silvio Santos and Luciano Huck.
Fernanda was very moved as she went on stage to receive the award from the hands of the mythic presenter Cid Moreira, and she celebrated: “Thank you! Thank you very much! I am really touched. I would like to thank all the hosts that have ever inspired me, Fátima (Bernardes), Silvio (Santos), Luciano (Huck). I’d like to thank my sons, who hang in there as I am away from home a lot. And my husband, Rodrigo Hilbert, who stayed home with the kids”.
On her Instagram, Fernanda thanked again: “Once again I thank all of those who voted for me so I could win this award! This is something very important to me and it makes me want to keep going! Thank you, thank you and thank you”.
